In my current role, I am Managing Director at Cisco India leading Enterprise business. Enterprise includes following verticals- Banking and Financial Services , Manufacturing and Industrial, IT enabled Services and Unicorns starts ups. I lead a team high performance sales team that represent the product portfolio ranging from Networking, Data Center , Collaboration suit, Security platform and Full Stack Observability. My teams deals with top end of the clients in each of these verticals with a mandate to be their trusted advisors. Prior to this role I was Vice President at IBM and lead relationship with Vodafone Idea (Part of Vodafone global group) and am part of IBM Telecom sector. Prior to this role, I was leading sales for Technology consulting and implementation services across Asia Pacific. In my 2 decades of experience, I have held various business leadership roles spanning across Industrial, Telecom and Enterprise vertical. I have led a consistent track record of success in sales, revenue, P&L management, delivery and leadership development. I am passionate about delivering successful business outcomes to my clients by leveraging our technology and consulting portfolio. This has helped me in building enduring C-suite relationships that are based on trust, integrity and value.I have led contracts with size of 300 musd plus revenue per annum and also signed large deals worth 500musd plus. In line with IBMs vision of AI and hybrid cloud, I have been working very closely with my clients to leverage the power of AI, hybrid cloud & Automation to accelerate their digital transformation.I am also part of IBM Faculty Management and take regular sessions on leadership development. . I believe, growth mindset , clear communication and transparency is the core to team's success. It has helped me in overcoming the challenges of working with such a widely dispersed, multi-disciplinary team. It motivates me to nurture a high-performance team and mentoring leaders to succeed in their career at IBM. Outside of work, I am into long distance running and have taken parts in multiple marathons / ultra marathons. The most special being the Ladakh Full Marathon in 2017, the highest altitude marathon in the world. I also like to trek in the Himalayas. This has taught me many lessons that I have applied in professional as well as personal front. Endurance, compassion,resilience and living in the moment are some of the virtues that I developed through these experiences.
