  • At MDF we use design thinking as a strategic tool for creating positive change. We are perched at the cross roads of Climate Action, Social Equity and Crafts Revival. Through various projects, collaborations and programs, our work has been addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals since 2017. With Jaggery, our flagship creative repurposing initiative based on circular economy principles, we have been able to address 11 of the 17 SDGs. Together with our content vertical, Gandhiji-dot-net, our sustainability consultancy, Earth Fighting For, and our ecosystem building vertical, The Great Reset, we are able to delve deeper.
  • While it is a constant endeavour to help bring about new partnerships and collaborations with like minded organisations around the world, we think in successfully implementing these little partnerships, we are able to help make the world more equitable and sustainable in our small yet impactful way.

  • Meaningful Design Labs works in two verticals, Design Consultation and Product Design.
  • ➊ Running a design-led social enterprise, Jaggery, that specializes in creative reuse of discarded materials. We work at the intersections of Environmental Conservation, Women Empowerment and Crafts Revival. Through this venture we wish to inspire change. We do this by converting Industrial Waste into Upcycled Bags, Green Accessories and Industrial Furniture and creating jobs for OBCs and wives of migrant labor. Currently we have clusters operational in Gujarat, Rajasthan and West Bengal. We have strategic partnerships with several NGOs from around the world that help in facilitating various activities for us that range from sourcing of decommissioned materials to design of products and production and marketing.
