Jill Kramer — CEO
WHAT I LIVE BY ✦ Nothing is more valuable than your time—always ask yourself some version of: ‘What if we didn’t?' and put your time and talent where it will do the most good. ✦ Only do what only you can do—the thing that’s your singular differentiator. A friend once told me that and I’ve never forgotten it. ✦ “Nice” isn’t a weakness. My whole career I’ve been told, “You’re too nice!” Well, I’m here to say: there’s no such thing. I’m nice, and I get the job done! WHERE I’VE BEEN ✦ For more than 20 years, advertising agencies were my work-home. At agencies like DDB, Rogers Townsend, and BBDO, I found colleagues, friends and mentors who helped our teams drive award-winning advertising and integrated marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. ✦ Before that, I found my feet as a storyteller while interning as a weekend weather girl in Amherst, Mass. I drew my own precipitation maps and learned how to present quick, clear and compelling information to an audience that needed it. They’re skills I use to this day… but without so many thermometers. Hi 👋 I'm Jill Kramer, and I have the incredible privilege of being Accenture's chief marketing & communications officer. Leading a global team of around 2000 talented professionals, my main focus is on strengthening the Accenture brand in the marketplace and driving business growth. Recently, Forbes recognized me as one of the 50 Most Influential CMOs and ADWEEK recognized me with their B2B Lifetime Achievement award, both of which were a huge honor. In my role, I oversee a wide range of areas including brand, advertising, content, digital marketing, social media, corporate and financial communications, industry analyst relations, media relations, and research and analytics. Before taking on this role, I led Accenture's brand and advertising efforts, ensuring the Accenture brand was well represented across our digital, advertising, social and in-person ecosystem. I was fortunate enough to lead the creative, media and communications strategy for the launch of our "Let There Be Change" brand campaign in 2020, which was a major milestone for the company (and for me!). Outside of my work at Accenture, I serve on the board of directors of the Ad Council, an organization I deeply believe in. My family is my world, and my priority, and my dogs Hank and Lucy are my constant shadows. I am a runner, a disability inclusion champion and constantly thinking about the next big thing. Follow me for updates on Accenture, generative AI and stories of reinvention.
