My passion project is Kids Swag, inspired by my girls, Kids Swag was created in recognition of the importance of images and the impact they have on shaping a child's world and sense of self. As marketers, we carefully select the images that are used in campaigns. Through Kids Swag I challenge parents to take that same care and be intentional about the images (toys, books, shows, and experiences) that they share with their children - I call this approach Mindful Representation, it's the philosophy behind Kids Swag. Mindful Representation is not exclusive to raising kids, it's a practice that also needs to be embraced by professionals and corporations committed to embracing and celebrating diversity.
