  • Pragyan is the ISO 9001 : 2008 and 20121:2012 Certified International Techno-managerial organization of NIT,Trichy. The organization conducts technical activities throughout the year with the flagship event being the techno-management festival.
  • I was chosen to head the team after delivering what was required as a marketing manager and showing some leadership traits that was required to take the team forward.
  • As a Marketing Head of Pragyan'16, I was initially involved in the selection and training of seventeen pre-final year students. I had to do research about over seven hundred companies and assign them based on their past relationship with academia, their position to sponsor and several other factors and subsequently guide my team members for further process to get sponsorship in terms of cash, kinds, services and internships.
  • I successfully envisioned the idea of a Digital India themed Hackathon and further associated with Microsoft to conduct the same. The event which was held in Bangalore saw over 15 companies partnering for the event and more than 100 apps developed.
  • Our team ideated and implemented a first of its kind event, Youth Business Summit at Hilton Chennai, which aimed at bringing the decision makers of today and tomorrow under a single roof. The event had series of key notes and a panel discussion from renowned industry greats. The event saw participation from 40 corporates.
  • I envisioned the concept of "Hands on Experience" of products by the participants as a part of branding strategy and successfully forged association with Texas Instruments,National Instruments and IBM in Pragyan 2016 where participants of robotics events were provided with Free TI and NI Kits to develop their models and compete and IBM Bluemix, SAS which was used to develop apps.
  • The whole marketing team under my leadership achieved more than hundred corporate associations and the sponsorhip amount saw an sizable increase of 150% from the previous edition.
