The Plato Project leveraged AI and project-based-pedagogy to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, empathy, humility and cultural sensitivity in high-school students, and instill in them a fascination for knowledge, while providing them with a deeper understanding of complex subjects and multi-disciplinary topics that are under-represented in formal school curriculum. Plato sought to help high school students better understand the intricate and complex workings of the world, of society and of inter-personal relationships.

I raised some money from marquee investors, nudged uber-talented friends to join as cofounders and leaders, and convinced people far smarter than me to become a part of the Zapr team, and carry us forward to realize our vision. I'm extremely proud of the unique business we built, the enviable tech we created and the dent we made in an anachronistic industry - and most of all, the significant and quantifiable value we created for our massive customer base.
Humbled by the faith that everyone put into Zapr Media Labs - my talented team and our supportive customers - on our decade long journey, and our ultimate exit to Samsung R&D.
