• 1. In the very 1st year, skipped univ academics for selling t-shirts to campus students, along with Aayush. We simply learned what it takes to start up
• 2. 2nd year, I joined campus groups, which is when I along with Chirag, and Harjot made an app. We helped campus students claim refunds of the skipped mess meals from the app and save both money and food. Since I was the mess secretary, we all ate good food in the mess :P
• 3. 3rd year, Did focus on product lifecycle with companies like 1mg and many early-stage startups: Wheelstreet (YC W17), Newton School, Prattle, Miko, etc Began with coding 1mg app, backend to User Experience of the ShareChat. Learned that product is more than UI/ UX and how content creation can solve real problems ;)
• 4. 4th year, I began with learning more about strengths, weaknesses and decision making. We lost elections by 0.01% votes! I found out that so many people around us at IITR were not considering their career decision as a life-changing one, that money was becoming a bottleneck to follow their dream and that is when decided to start FamPay to help Indians fix their relationship with money.
• Projects, I contributed to at the campus, simply out of curiosity for problem-solving
• Reforming the organizational structure of technical groups
• Bringing “Google for Education” providing Gsuite to campus students at IIT Roorkee
• Empowering internal groups at IIT Roorkee, to have their own public IITR web domain names
• Serving campus students delicious and healthy food for more than 1000+ students, for one year
• Reducing food wastage by 80% and daily food cost budget by 30% at the campus
• BUILT Appetizer, the official Food App, was used by many of the campus students
• Got approval from admins for a permanent lab and budget for the MDG group
• Worked closely with the Alumni Relations Cell
• The credit of all the contributions and learnings goes to IIT Roorkee :D
