In 2018, Akshita received Social Innovator Award by Pune International Centre and Dare to Fly Award by TCS Foundation. Same year, Trestle Labs received NASSCOM Design4India Award and Nidhi Prayas Prototyping Grant by DST Govt. of India. In 2016, Akshita and her team won Jury's Choice Award at Accenture Innovation Jockeys Season 5 for their innovation, Griwaditi - a Point-of-care Cervical Cancer screening device. Same year, Akshita received Star Women Achiever Award by Accenture and Outstanding Achievements Award by her college, Manav Rachna. In 2015, Akshita and her team won Accenture Innovation Season 4 and represented India at the World Finals of Microsoft Imagine Cup in Seattle, Washington for their innovation, Manovue - glove-like device that helps the Blind navigate unknown environments and read text just by pointing their index finger.
