I started my career with a phone, a few leads, and a lot of uncertainty. At CommonFloor, I moved from individual contributor to team manager — my first step into leadership. That phase taught me that vision isn’t about having big plans; it’s about thinking clearly, learning quickly, and executing consistently. I realised people don’t follow authority — they follow clarity. When teams understand why something matters, they figure out how to make it happen. At OLA, I experienced what true scale feels like. It was fast, intense, and full of learning. Data showed me what to measure; instinct told me when to move. The hardest skill was balance — acting quickly without overreacting. I learned that good decisions blend logic and intuition, but great decisions add calm to both. Then came HomeLane — the next chapter of building from scratch. The East was a blank canvas, and we built it one person, one process, and one milestone at a time. Over the years, that small start has grown into one of the company’s strongest regions. What began as leading a team has now evolved into shaping strategy and scaling operations across multiple cities. Today, as Vice President – Business, I lead a large part of HomeLane’s business operations across East and North India — driving growth, profitability, and culture. My focus is on building systems that scale and people who take ownership. I mentor teams to think like founders, make decisions with clarity, and find calm in the middle of chaos. The proudest moments in my journey aren’t the revenue charts or awards — they’re the people who’ve grown to lead, the systems that run without noise, and the customers who come back because they trust us. My leadership principles are simple: hire for attitude, build trust through consistency, and improve the process before the outcome. Numbers matter, but meaning matters more.
