I am working as Strategy Analyst for over a year with Accenture Strategy. My role requires me to analyze a company’s performance and compare them with industry leaders. I have worked on a number of projects from across industries (retail, travel, hospitality, Energy, Pharma). In a project, I am required to deeply analyze a company’s performance and benchmark it against its peers and finally identify actionable value creation opportunities for clients. I helped the client in identifying gaps and how they can reinvigorate growth, what is the appropriate cost allocation strategy for them, how they can further grow their revenues etc. I was also involved with the digital value part of the team. The work involved helping the client in their digital journey and suggest digital initiatives under key themes. The second part of the project involved in-depth analysis of how much value does each initiative will add to the client. I was also involved in handling the development and launch of platform service which automated the analysis.
