• • As a MITACS GRI, I worked with Prof. Eric Diller in his Microrobotics Lab at UofT, on developing novel soft magnetic microrobots for medical diagnostics. These 3-d printed untethered robots can be profoundly implemented for drug delivery and sample collection from human body for early symptom detection for fatal diseases like cancer. We performed extensive lab experiments to understand and improve the sampling capability, locomotive ability and biocompatibility of the robots. Won the best paper award for this work at the MARSS Conference, Delft 2024 for "3D printed untethered, magnetic bulb for liquid biopsy and drug delivery”

• Part of an 11 member team catering over 6000 Aeromodelling and Aerial Robotics enthusiasts at IITB by conducting unique workshops, events, flying sessions and projects.
• Worked on Tilt Rotor VTOL Aircraft, developed the design for an RC model and performed aerodynamic analysis.
• Worked on multiple aeromodelling challenges including the design of a model rocket and design of a launchpad for a sounding rocket and grabbed top national positions.

• Designed passive micro-valves for a ventricular assist device aiming to achieve desired blood flow rates for different medical applications.
• Analysed the structural integrity of the valve, integrated piezoelectric actuation for rapid closure to avoid leakages and studied the flow profile around valves using CFD to account for turbulent shear stresses and thus haemolysis (blood damage)

• Contributed to a cross functional team building highly robust rovers to represent IITB in events like University Rover Challenge (Utah) and European Rover Challenge.
• Responsible for the design, analysis, optimization, manufacturing and testing of a 3 link-6 DOF robotic arm, with a multipurpose gripper and wrist assembly with a lifting capacity of 5 kg.
• Performed risk and failure analysis using FMEA and similar strategies to perform insightful design optimization.
