• Developed a real time data ingestion system to enable the
• streaming of POS data into data models. The data was checked
• for internal consistency during the streams.

• Worked with Data analysis COE and learnt the nuances of inventory management at RIL. Understood the importance of
• having buffer stock and minimization of working capital.
• Exploratory analysis on data was done to earmark dead-stock
• for inventory optimisation.It was ensured that no stock which
• could result in shutdowns was earmarked for inventory reduction.
• The inventory items were classified using the Average Demand
• Interval and Coefficient of Variance depending on variation in
• time and quantity demanded using python.
• Developed various forecasting models using the ARIMA, HoltWinters and spline methods. Suggested optimal stock for material with regular variations in time with an accuracy of 73.27%
