About

I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Y Combinator program, experience a successful startup exit, and be recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Portfolio link: https://nalin-gupta.com/ My journey began in India, where I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electronics engineering. After that, I co-founded Auro Robotics with my friends to develop self-driving cars. But I wasn’t satisfied with the growth opportunities for such a deep tech startup in India. So in 2015, I took a one-way flight to the US on a tourist visa and came to Silicon Valley. That company eventually went through the Y Combinator program, raised venture funding, and got acquired by Ridecell. I am now based in the San Francisco bay area, where I enjoy working with startups and bold thinkers on world-changing ideas.

Bujo shopping ai

Founder & CEO

  • Bujo provides expert sales consultation on e-commerce stores. More info at https://www.getbujo.com/
  • People need expert help while buying complex products such as refrigerator, projector, mattress, snowboard, bike, jewelry. We provide that expert shopping consultation, thereby helping customers make a purchase decision which results in increase in sales and reduction in returns.
  • We started with humans offering live consultation over video calls. We used that data to train an AI sales agent for e-commerce, which can either do full end-to-end conversation with shoppers or act as a copilot alongside a store’s existing call center staff.
