• McGraw-Hill Higher Education's Business and Economics division is a market share leader in the textbook business. As VP of Digital Products, my key challenges were to increase market share, usage and revenue of our digital products. I led a team of 8 dynamic product managers, launched two brand new businesses and three game changing products. I consolidated legacy products and streamlined operations, which helped increase our bottom line.

• McGraw-Hill Higher Education is a number-two publisher in its segment in the United States. As a Software Architect, my key challenge was to provide a highly available, linearly scalable and extremely flexible learning management platform. I led a large team of onsite/offshore software developers and created a world-class enterprise software platform called 'Connect' based on Java EE. This SOA based platform today hosts around 200 products, provides end to end learning management services, serves around one million customers and generates multi-million dollars in revenue. The platform also integrates seamlessly with various partner applications, provides digital rights management (DRM) and eCommerce services. The platform is hosted on globally load balanced data centers with robust disaster recovery sites and procedures. The ‘Connect’ platform won Corporate Achievement Award and is Higher Education's flagship product.

As a technical / team lead, my key focus was to work with Pearson Education to build their educational platform and services delivering adaptive courseware for their K-12 market. • Tech Mahindra is part of the $11 billion Mahindra Group, in partnership with British Telecommunications plc (BT), one of the world’s leading communications service providers. As senior software engineer, I primarily worked on billing projects for various United States based telecommunication clients. These projects spanned from IBM Mainframe OS/390 to C/UNIX to Java EE.
