  • Design, fabrication and electro-optical characterization of graphene field effect transistor (GFET) based optical modulator. Non-linear measurements using femtosecond laser pulses were performed on this device for the investigation of electrically switchable third harmonic generation and four-wave mixing in graphene. Tasks involved simulation, electrical transport analysis, process development (photo-lithography, metal evaporation, lift-off, plasma etching, exfoliation, annealing) and characterization with nonlinear optical microscopy, AFM and Raman spectroscopy.
