• Mobile Analytics Platform (MAP) • Worked with a leading MDM vendor. Designed the analytics platform for mobile application performance analysis in real time. MAP solution exposed rich APIs which can be leveraged by the applications to push the relevant data onto MAP server, thereby allowing application vendor to monitor and analyze real-time application performance.
• iMobile • Manager & Lead in Generic J2ME framework for device agnostic application development. This framework acts as an abstraction over the J2ME API framework and is aware of the behavioral gaps for various supported device models. Applications developed using this framework can leverage a uniform application experience for various supported models.
• myBoxToneExpert • Lead Developer in mobile analytics & self-service application. Worked with a leading Mobile Device Management (MDM) vendor. Designed and developed this application for BlackBerry platform. Key features: mobile health & usage monitoring, self-service module for BlackBerry platform (supporting BlackBerry v4.2.1 to v6.0). Monitoring & alerting for about 26 crucial device conditions along with recommendations for resolving the same. Uploading of usage details & health statistics with configured frequency (pushed by IT Policy). Of special note is the contribution in conceptualization and design of bandwidth optimized Binary Data Transport Protocol (BDTP) for pushing fine-grained device usage data to the server and offline storage approach of application usage pattern (data collected in seconds). Client planned to patent these 2 approaches.

• Worked in the area of storage virtualization. Worked on design & development of a single VERITAS (later Symantec) product for 5+years from inception to 3 major market releases. Additionally, was involved in mentoring new team members and taking up other R&D tasks in product roadmap.
• Veritas Intelligent Storage Provisioning (VxISP) • Associate Software Engineer -> Software Engineer -> Senior Software Engineer • VxISP facilitates to organize, create and manage virtual storage devices called volumes in a storage area network. It is storage network-aware and allocates storage based on externalized rules and storage hardware features. It integrates seamlessly with other VERITAS product components. The service was bundled with Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) 4.0 onwards and supported all the functionality that existed in earlier versions of VxVM for volume creation. Usage of data structures, algorithms, XML xercus parser, flex & bison, design patterns and support for internationalization in 4 different languages. The product is shipped on 4 Unix flavors namely: Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, IBM-AIX.
