I started my education journey from a very small town near Kolkata. Ambition to get into SRCC drove me to put my best in academics in Class 12th. SRCC was a life-changing experience. I met exceptionally talented & diverse people there who pulled my bar of excellence and ambition to a level I had never imagined of. I dribbled between Dramatics & Enactus (social entrepreneurship) student clubs and eventually became the President of Enactus. Those 2 years taught me a lot about leadership, entrepreneurship, community building and the social problems plaguing India. As college was coming to an end, I got an offer from AT Kearney as a management consultant. Life had other plans though. Covid happened and the idea of The State Plate was seeded. I co-founded this company along with my college friend, where we curated packaged regional foods from different states of India & delivered it pan India. Over the span of its journey, we have served more than 1.8 lakh consumers. We raised our first round of funding from Antler India & then an additional one from Peyush Bansal at Shark Tank. We built a team of 24 people and eventually sold this beautiful brand to JustMyRoots. Post acquisition, I lead the TSP business, along with the offline business charter of the parent organisation in Southern India and exited in August 2025. At the moment, I am figuring life out. I am exploring problem statements to pursue where I want to build my next big thing. I am open to exciting projects on the side - who knows what it brings to life?
