Entrepreneur for life. Avid enthusiast for deep-tech business like Life Sciences, EVs, Renewable energy and Water. I believe good ideas are everywhere — but it’s execution that sets them apart. Right now, I’m focused on solving bottlenecks in drug discovery and life sciences automation. At Avay, we build Liquid Handling systems and endeavour to translate 3D Cell Culture from academia to industry. Before this, I worked on software systems on the cloud that digitized workflows for SMEs, bridging the gap between operational friction and functional design. My first exposure to the startup ecosystem began when I was part of an aerospace startup right out of college where I helped design and test specialized aerial systems — seeing the full lifecycle from blueprint to flight performance. College was incredibly fun, I tried out everything I possibly could. Extra curriculars included leading teams across multiple domains — from organizing TEDx and MUNs to designing Android apps and websites. I also directed Short Films. I first learnt to love hardware from applying Aero fundaes to build fixed-wing drones. For my thesis project, I brought together computer vision and combustion research, used machine learning to predict system states. Outside of work, I’m a generalist at heart — fascinated by biology, machine design, human behavior, social constructs and how all of them collide. I believe deeply in persistence, team energy, and most of all, enjoying what I do.
