About

MS Biotechnology Graduate Student at Northeastern University. Currently investigating pyrin inflammasome activation by Clostridioides difficile toxins in the Saavedra Laboratory, employing immunological techniques including ELISA, Western blot, and cytotoxicity assays to characterize immune responses to bacterial pathogens. As a Research Assistant at IIT Madras's Cell and Tissue Microenvironment Engineering Laboratory, I optimized bioengineered hydrogel synthesis protocols (GelMA and PEG-Fibrinogen) for cancer cell encapsulation and conducted quantitative imaging analysis of MCF-7 and MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cell behavior across multiple time intervals. During my tenure with the Indian Council of Medical Research, I performed differential cytokine analysis on 220 tuberculosis patient samples using multiplex ELISA to identify biomarkers for latent TB infection. I also bring real-world experience in healthcare data science from MuSigma Business Solutions, where I served as a Trainee Decision Scientist supporting clinical trial design for Fortune 200 pharmaceutical clients using SAS, SQL and Excel. I bring strong technical expertise in mammalian cell culture, immunological assays, confocal microscopy, and data visualization tools, including FIJI-ImageJ and GraphPad Prism. As a Gold Medalist and Valedictorian from St. Joseph's College of Engineering, I have acquired a strong foundational and conceptual knowledge across the subjects of Biotechnology. My career goal is to contribute to biopharmaceutical R&D, particularly in developing therapeutic interventions for infectious diseases and immune-related disorders. I'm eager to connect with professionals with similar interests.
