Debapriyo keeps an entrepreneurial spirit in heart and is highly curious individual, his curiosity for little things drive him through his daily life and allows him to question the status quo. He has pursued engineering from NIT Durgapur with Electrical Engineering as his majors. Right after engineering from NIT Durgapur, he joined Hindalco Industries Limited and started his career with Metal & Mining Industry. As Senior Engineer he had handle different, thus acquired skills like Manpower Management, Quality Management, Six Sigma Process Implementation and MIS reporting. After 23 Months of employement in Hindalco, he pursued MBA from IIM Ranchi with Marketing & Strategy as his Majors. He also held responsible position of Executive Member of Corporate Relations & Placement Committee, thus acted as a liasion between corporates and college for all activities in the year 2017-18. He has also been a regular performer in B-School Corporate Competitions like Nestle 4P Challenge, Mahindra War Room, etc. He had interned with Tata NYK Shipping as Strategic Management Intern at Singapore to develop market entry strategy for Tata NYK Shipping's entry into indian coastal shipping, and have been offered a PPO from Tata NYK Shipping. This token will proceeded forward to viewers of content as payment for their attention. The protocol was transperant as it doesn't rely on complex content algorithm rather simple ordering as per reward for attention.
  • We scaled it 30K+ users across globe primarily countries like Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand and India. We have rewarded more than a million attention eye ball on content produced and distributed through the platform.
  • Being bootstrapped it was bleeding money and needed more time for the token to have market driven value accrual. So we Shut it off with heavy heart and moved forward in life.
  • Learnings:
  • Building something alligns with governments agenda has governmental push and not governmental resistance.
  • Most companies die because they kill themselves than competitors. Competitors dont even know you exist.
  • Raising money is super hard, it needs network, patience and also "money". Funny when you realise you need to raise money.
  • Solo Founder is a big red flag for investor, but building with someone half-hearted cofounder is twice more dangerous and recipe for failure.
  • Building fancy concept with high end technology is much easier than getting customers pay.
  • App was delisted from Playstore in Oct 2024 as we didn't keep updating it.
