My academic journey includes a doctoral fellowship at the University of Göttingen (Erasmus Mundus, EU), a Gold Medal in Sanskrit (Pune University), and the Infosys Fellowship at the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute. I have also served as Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, where I headed the Centre for Indian Knowledge Traditions and co-founded ORF Marathi. Beyond academia, I actively engage with policy, media, and culture to broaden the relevance of the humanities. I have served on the Maharashtra State Marathi Encyclopedia Committee, have written fortnightly columns for Loksatta (Indian Express Group) for 2 years, and contributed to Indian cinema as a Sanskrit lyricist for films such as Singham, Super 30, and Panipat, collaborating with celebrated, talented artists like Ajay–Atul, Sonu Nigam, and Swanand Kirkire. At the intersection of scholarship, technology, and culture, I strive to demonstrate how the Humanities continue to shape contemporary life.
