Ten years ago, the tracker (HSAT) Technology was very new and people had many reservations about stepping into new technology for solar plants.
The stakes were high for Nextracker to enter this new territory, and I happened to be the person who led their initial three projects’ execution in India. These projects were not supposed to be ordinary, but a Signature Statement for the organization that could be showcased in the market for business growth, a strategy that paid off handsomely for the company later.
The first project - was executed in Hyderabad in one of the biggest IT parks and was inaugurated by eminent personalities.
The second project - was installed in the heart of Delhi and was even featured in the NET GEO EMMY Award-winning documentary series "Years of Living Dangerously".
The third project - was completed in Punjab, which was the largest HSAT project in India at that time, and was inaugurated by the then Dy Chief Minister of Punjab.
The success of these projects positioned the company as the top player in India at that time and paved the way for continuous success in India.

I have been associated with the award-winning 5x270 MW subcritical thermal power project from its inception stage to the O&M stage, with exposure to different departments from Engineering Coordination and Contract & Commercial in its Gurgaon Office to Project Planning, Site Execution and O&M at the Amravati site.
The project also holds a record for commissioning its three units within a short span of time and was awarded as the best power plant receiving the "Power Awards Thermal & Conventional Energy - Private Sector" at the ENERTIA AWARDS.
