Where It All Began: From Civil Engineering to Talent Acquisition My professional journey didn’t begin in HR. In fact, I started my career as a Civil Engineer after earning my B.Tech. My first role was with Satnam Global Infraprojects Ltd., where I worked as a Site Engineer managing key infrastructure projects. This role taught me the importance of timelines, quality, and team collaboration—skills that I later found incredibly valuable in recruitment. While engineering taught me discipline and project management, I found myself more drawn toward human interaction, strategic planning, and team dynamics. I was always the person connecting the dots between teams, resolving conflicts, and ensuring collaboration. That’s when I realized my true calling: talent acquisition. Recruitment offered the perfect mix of analytical thinking and human-centered impact. So, I made the shift—and I’ve never looked back.
