Cluster Management team owns the provisioning and management of clusters ranging from two nodes to thousands of nodes. These clusters are spun up on-demand in minutes, continually auto-sized and terminated when idle. Hadoop team is responsible for the unique adaptations to the hadoop engines to make them work well in the cloud and on Qubole's ephemeral clusters.
