About

For over a decade, I built and scaled products at fast-growing startups like Curefit and Freecharge, leading Product Management, Analytics, and Partner Experiences. These roles gave me incredible opportunities to solve meaningful problems, collaborate with great teams, and drive impact at scale. Yet over time, I felt the pull to build with complete independence to act on my empathy for users in the most direct and unfiltered way possible. In 2024, I acted on it. I took a step back to rethink how I wanted to operate and asked myself, What problems do I care about enough to dedicate the next decade to solving? That year became the most intense personal evolution of my life. By getting off the treadmill, practicing digital detox and inner reflection, guided by a mentor, I found clarity on my core values. Through serendipity, I came across a problem I couldn’t ignore—Tedious and manual workflows that drain people’s time and energy. Work should be fulfilling, not frustrating. And I knew I could help fix that. Now, I’m building AI agents for finance and procurement teams designed to eliminate inefficiencies and make work effortless. The mission is clear: remove friction so people can focus on what truly matters.Outside of work, you’ll find me diving into thought-provoking books by subject matter experts (Outlive by Peter Attia, Good Strategy Bad Strategy, Subscribed), exploring business and tech podcasts (Acquired, Lenny’s, My First Million), and spending time with my family and friends (co-creating stories with my daughter, unplugged walks with my spouse, and deep 1:1 or small group conversations with friends)Skills: Empathy, Prompt engineering, Relentlessness, Ability to mentor and inspire

  • My role was centered on improving the journey of every individual connected to our fitness ecosystem—helping members stay motivated, enabling trainers to deliver better outcomes, and empowering franchise partners with the tools they needed to succeed.
  • For members: Made staying on track easier by introducing structured onboarding, clear progression milestones, and personalized nudges—leading to a noticeable lift in retention and engagement.
  • For gym-goers seeking more: Reimagined personal training by integrating a fitness manager, digital assessments, and nutrition guidance—helping members see clear value in upgrading their experience.
  • For franchise partners: Simplified operations by automating settlements, providing real-time data insights, and building deep-dive analytics tools—giving them more clarity and control over their business.
  • For the internal team: Reshaped how we used data, overhauling our analytics function to provide faster, clearer insights—leading to a more empowered team and stronger decision-making across the board.
  • By focusing on what truly mattered to each stakeholder, we unlocked growth—not just in revenue and metrics, but in trust, engagement, and long-term impact.

Product Lead - Gyms marketplace, AI health coach, Growth

Aug 2020Sep 2022 · 2 yrs 1 mo

  • Making Fitness More Accessible, Structured, and Engaging for Gym-Goers, Trainers, and Franchise Owners
  • For members: Launched the gym marketplace, allowing seamless check-ins at multiple gyms across the city. Introduced an AI Personal Trainer, featuring a smart workout planner (500K+ plans), posture guidance, and workout logging—helping members stay consistent and see better results. Of every 100 gym-goers, 30 actively used the planner for over 15 minutes daily, with better renewal rates among users.
  • For trainers: Piloted the Guaranteed Guidance Program across 50 gyms, linking incentives to workout ratings (collected post-session via the app) by assigning members to trainers. While improved ratings didn’t drive a strong enough renewal lift to justify scaling, the experiment led to a pivot—shifting focus toward habit formation as a more sustainable engagement driver.
  • For gym owners: Built the gym owner/franchise portal from the ground up, providing real-time insights and smoother operations. This was critical in fast-tracking the launch and scale of the gym marketplace, making growth more predictable for franchisees.
  • For prospective members: Led the rollout of consultative selling, essential for our high-involvement subscription product. Evaluated multiple platforms, finalized Sprinklr, led procurement negotiations, and implemented it at scale. The result? A measurable increase in sales per telesales agent, with incremental profits far exceeding the tool’s cost—while also delivering a smoother buying experience for those needing extra guidance.

Product lead - Growth and marketing

May 2018Aug 2020 · 2 yrs 3 mos

  • Joined as the product-led growth leader, focusing on scalable acquisition, retention, and engagement levers. Over two years, I led multiple high-impact initiatives:
  • Referral as a growth engine: Iterated on referral program through incentive experiments, gamification through referral challenges, and product innovations like Gifting a VIP pass to a friend—ultimately making referrals the largest acquisition channel for fitness.
  • Scaling partnerships: Launched and scaled third-party partnerships (e.g., CRED) into the third-largest acquisition channel, diversifying growth beyond direct channels.
  • Loyalty & engagement: Introduced a loyalty program to drive higher workout and healthy meal frequency, backed by the "It Pays to Be Fit" TV campaign. Learnings didn’t validate the original hypothesis, so we gracefully sunsetted it.
  • High-tempo experimentation: Established a structured A/B testing framework focused on install-to-purchase conversion, scaling to 4 experiments per month with a 4 membered team. Eventually, I concluded that cult.fit needed bigger bets for the scale it had - so we paused the effort.
  • Infrastructure for Growth: Built foundational growth infra, including a merchandising platform, offers a platform, digital marketing tracking, challenge platform, in-house segmentation, and CRM tools, enabling long-term scalability.

Hike messenger

Senior Product Manager

Mar 2017May 2018 · 1 yr 2 mos · Bengaluru Area, India

  • Driving Hike’s Transition to an Open Network & Enhancing User Engagement
  • At Hike, I played a key role in transforming the platform from a phone-book-based network (like WhatsApp) to an open network (like Instagram)—ensuring a seamless shift while retaining existing users. My focus was on user privacy, identity, and engagement to build a more connected yet secure experience.
  • Open Network & Privacy
  • Led the launch of Hike ID (username), collaborating closely with the engineering and design teams to iterate 5 times, ensuring a frictionless transition—eliminating funnel drop-offs and minimizing churn among existing users.
  • Redesigned privacy controls with server-configurable profile & privacy settings, working alongside product and UX researchers to introduce clear user education and behavioral nudges, ensuring users felt comfortable in the open network.
  • Managed the open network launch with cross-functional teams, keeping complaints below 50 per million monthly active users, preserving trust at scale.
  • Boosting User Engagement with Smart Automation
  • We built a patented (by hike) smart notification system that significantly enhanced in-app engagement, achieving click-through rates ≥40%. This system supported a range of user experiences—from birthday reminders to personalized sticker suggestions for festivals like Diwali. It allowed notifications to be scheduled in advance, ensuring messages appeared in-app at the right campaign start time, which led to 99%+ delivery rates. To prevent notification fatigue, we designed a prioritized and frequency-capped framework, surfacing the most relevant use cases first rather than overwhelming users. One of the most impactful applications of this system was personalized friend recommendations, which helped 25% more new users make 3+ friends in their first week—a critical "Aha" moment that directly influenced long-term retention.
