• Established a 100+ people strong org across Bangalore and Austin locations. Global Trade org owns products rolled out to multiple marketplaces and includes 3 independent orgs in imports, exports and machine learning domains led by seasoned technology leaders.
• Built products to provide end-to-end solutions in cross border domain including seller registration, compliance, fulfillment and payments leading to multi-billion USD business. Demonstrated ability to handle complexity and ambiguity in the roadmap involving technical breadth and depth dimensions.
• Scaled the org from 40 to 100+ people by partnering with Amazon leadership on expansion, attracting talent and establishing the tech vision for longer term.
• Rolled out technology capabilities worldwide and demonstrated excellent stakeholder management with partners located across geographies.
• Led a dedicated machine learning team for entire India seller fulfillment organization and delivered 8 business critical ML models. Established a culture of innovation and research; improved machine learning adoption across wider org.

• Led and grew a 40 people strong Easyship technology team at Bangalore and scaled the business to multiple marketplaces. Easyship is a third-party fulfillment channel where Amazon owns Delivery and Promises.
• Launched Easyship to UAE marketplace.
• Delivered several initiatives for third-party channel to improve speed and discoverability.
• Launched customer returns features like hand-to-hand and exchanges.
• Delivered machine learning models for wider org like CRAP (Can’t realize any profits) etc.
• Launched a new reporting platform and extended to multiple businesses and marketplaces at Amazon.

• Established a new AWS infrastructure team in Bangalore from ground zero and scaled it to 30 member team across BLR and Seattle including 27 Software Development Engineers and 3 Software Development Managers. Some of the key large-scale goals that I drove across all of AWS are automate supply chain systems for infrastructure, build end to end procure to pay systems, segregation of duties, capital leasing automation, capital appropriation automation and long-range planning systems.

• Built Datapath architecture for an Internet Services networking platform to enable growth in content monetization business. The product was successfully deployed in US nationwide and handles all the wireless traffic with minimal latency.
• Influenced cross functional teams like application services group, product support group and testing teams across different geographies.
• Co-ordinated discussions on datapath with system architecture group, core development groups and testing teams.
• Designed and Architected core datapath functionality including flow setup, load balancing, routing and deep packet inspection. Granted 1 patent by USPTO for an innovative design proposal.
• Drove resolution to several critical operational issues cutting across multiple systems/teams identified during the initial product rollout.
• Designed and implemented a new TCP like Reliable Packet Delivery protocol (RPT). RPT was used between network processors and Linux line cards for exchanging packet count information for billing.

• As a Manager, I led the platform services team at Movik Networks. The major responsibilities included data plane, control plane state entities, charging/billing subsystems, and network monitoring solution. Apart from this, I was also a part of the group responsible for deliveries required to showcase the solution in customer lab.

• Designed and developed the complete data plane from scratch. It does processing of Gateway Tunneling Protocol packets and routes them depending upon the configured policies. The whole date plane was also moved to kernel for faster packet processing with an enhanced line rate.

• I led the re-architecture of a device adaptor which abstracts MGCP protocol from call control layer in a class-5 switch.I designed, developed and integrated the solution in a time critical environment. Build the solution end-to-end, executed load and stress test cases and solved a number of complex problems during integration. The project is successfully deployed at a large scale telecom operator today.

• I single handedly implemented the interface for hooking up the call processing server to multiple interfaces on the device like L2GE and E1/T1. Implemented a policy service pipeline to support a number of call features with minimal call processing time. Also, implemented feature server to provide management plane and control plane functionality for the service.

• Architecture utilizing buddylist based instant messaging and presence application with SIP.
