• My key achievements across these are, a) as a site leader, setting up technology group of 80+ engineers in Hyderabad, b) envisioned and spear-headed transformation of the technology tech stack and delivered a single platform for all Byju’s products (WHJ, Aakash, Grade Up, Early Learnings, Tynker etc) using Microservice architecture c) unified all self-learning native iOS/Android applications (Kotlin, Swift) and Web (React) in a single tech stack(Flutter), reducing time-to-market by 80% and increased resource fungibility d) optimized engineering solutions, organization structure and the cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to save over ₹300 Cr annually. e) setup Byju’s AI/ML Learning lab to build solutions for learning management including personalization, and f) overhauled processes for talent hiring, operational planning and product prioritization across Byju’s tech & product teams. I own product strategy, roadmap, technology, delivery and operations.

• Led the engineering org to build up seller solutions like drone-assisted remote home-visit, virtual pre/post renovation experience and virtual open house. Defined the strategy for mobile development and set up the verticals mobile development teams, to reduce dependencies and go-to-market periods. Later, I also worked with the product team to conceptualize a marketplace for Home-renovation services and influenced leadership for tech investment.

• As a site leader, started a new site (Austin, TX) for Prime Video and set up tech and product teams. Launched the first full-scale live streaming experience of Live Sports, to the worldwide customers, in a record time of 100 days. Set up the Live Sports org, in Austin, from scratch with technology teams spread across multiple domains. Led technology selection, large-scale system design and product prioritization. Managed cross-organization collaboration to scale Prime Video architecture to support over 100M Prime customers and 5+ M concurrent sessions. By automating lifecycle management for live events, my teams reduced operational overhead by 97% enabling Prime Video to increase the number of sports events from 1k/year to 16k/year, leading to multi-year sports contracts worth $1B+. Also conceptualized & delivered a computer-vision-based video analysis platform, now used for multiple applications like recording replays, auto-creation of highlights.

• Led the definition of product vision and technical architecture for the Freight Auditing & Payments product suite, a system managing auditing & payment of $12B/year globally. Created a business case for increased investment and convinced leadership to double down in this space. The resultant product generated savings of $100+MM through automated auditing, in the first year. Led a revamp of the carrier management product suite (work allocation, workforce, planning, notifications and carrier configuration). Till then these systems evolved incrementally and were operations heavy and it required a fresh look to manage the increased business scale. Drove the North Star functional system design and implementation of self-serve workforce management suites leading to 40% reduction in carrier-related trip cancellations. Additionally, I defined organization vision, organization design and KRAs for each function. Incubated a dedicated analytics function for not only a closed feedback loop on product efficiency but also to business for contract negotiations.
