• Designed and lead the entire Microsoft Teams backup solution, incorporating internal consumption of the SharePoint backup solution for attachments and implementing a separate backup process for channel posts.
• Worked closely with product and go-to-market teams for competitor analysis, COGS analysis. Internally worked with the engineering team on performance improvement of backups and common customer pain points, resulting in substantial reduction of customer escalations.
• Implemented efficient backup mechanisms to capture and store Azure AD user accounts, groups, applications and attributes along with all it’s relations. Worked on low level design for better code reusability and efficiency.
• Designed and implemented a specialised micro-service dedicated to Microsoft365 connection management, aimed at increasing the overall backup throughput for Microsoft 365 environments. Involved provisioning Azure AD applications managed via terraform for connection.

• Implemented extensions to the existing backup infrastructure to support the backup and restore of contacts and calendar data from Exchange Online into AWS as a Saas solution.
• Inventory management for MS-SQL backups and provisioning per-customer data planes for air-gapped backups. This involved automatic account provisioning using AWS control tower. Worked extensively with AWS CloudFormation templates, and integrating services like Auto Scaling Groups (ASG), Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Developed and maintained the Microsoft 365 inventory management microservice mangaed via Kubernetes, responsible for handling all inter-service communication, backup policy maintenance, compliance book-keeping. For each Exchange mailbox, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Worked on connection management for Microsoft 365, facilitating backup and restore operations via Azure AD OAuth for secure, token-based authentication.
