During my 3.5 years of experience at Snapdeal, I helped build core systems which drove supply chain at SD. I delivered and owned major chunk of order processing technologies. Helped build multiple orders fulfilment modes at supply chain like SD+, Dropship, pick and pack etc. Efforts made in this direction made SD a true e-commerce marketplace. Created a scalable backed platform. We hosted many value added services like same day- next day delivery, Quick refunds, My order, cancellation till OFD, order tracking and many more. Helped built in-house courier system to handled long haul. SD's courier arm vulcan relied heavily on this. We created technology to integrate SD platform with third party couriers. This was a pioneer step by the team which stream lined order processing and tracking to great extent. Helped build SD's partner portal. We created technologies which simplified vendor payments.
Created a winning team who helped take Snapdeal to next level. We scaled SCM products which practically processed 700k orders per day. Systems were tuned to process many more orders than this.
Good product understanding and focus on technology help me all this at SD.
