  • As per the Indian regulations, 2 factor authentication (2FA) for internet and IVR transaction is a mandate. This ensures high level of security but also leads to increased transaction processing time and customer inconvenience.
  • We helped create a one-click solution for internet transactions ensuring the adherence to the guidelines but still reducing the overall transaction processing time and increased customer convenience. The solution was successfully sold to one of the major Indian retail clients and is pipeline with couple of others.
  • 2) Leading Football Federation's E-Money strategy: Working as a consultant to build a multiple application EMV card for the federation. The task included creation of a an open loop EMV payment application integrated with the loyalty and e-ticketing systems. The delivery included writing the technical and functional specifications for the vedors to execute on the strategy. Participated in the pre-bid meeting bringing in the clarity to the bidders on the scope of work.
  • 3) Domestic Scheme strategy: Working as a consultant to a domestic payment scheme in India. We helped in providing consultancy services to strategize different product launches, pricing strategy, operational strategy and technology strategy.
  • Currently, working on the strategy for EMV contact, EMV contactless and NFC product launches for the scheme. Also, helped developing various operational documentations for the scheme.

  • 3) Tawaraqq Cards – Created the IT strategy for an Islamic banking product to be launched, in which there would be no interest charged to the credit card customers.
  • 4) Chip & Pin Launch for HSBC Middle East – Successfully completed full chip launch for Visa, Master Card and local network products.
  • 5) Pin on IVR launch – This project is to support pin change and update functionality through IVR thereby eliminating the need of paper based pin mailers.
  • 6) Debit card conversion for Oman – Successfully completed the conversion. This was a conversion project to migrate ATM cards from legacy system to Vision Plus platform.
