• Core member of Bulbul engineering which is India’s first video e-commerce app
• Built the search and discovery platform from scratch. Increased purchase conversion by 5X
• Lead the effort to build a recommendation system (realtime and batch both) to give personalised feed to customers and recommendations on various app pages. CTR increased by 3X and purchase conversion by 2X.
• Created a DSL on top of ElasticSearch to be used by category team to easily create landing pages for campaigns, banners etc.
• Built page service to create customisable views/layouts which could be dynamically changed from backend
• Created a tool for the marketing team to create campaign deeplinks and also capture user demographics and interests. This data to be used for app monetisation and recommendations.

• Designed and implemented a refund service for charges and discounts which is critically used in the entire order processing flow. The design complexity involved domain decoupling of order from a charge, interaction with payments for refunds and impact on other services and their migration. It’s extensible architecture helped the company to easily add new charges/discounts specially during sale.
• Integrated this non-blocking service layer with inherently blocking mysql db. This required handling back-pressure to not overload the database and respond gracefully when under stress. Programmed this service in a reactive way to handle the same.

• Evangelised the order management system into a multi-tenant system. It helped in Jabong on-boarding to Myntra’s tech stack and has opened gates for other store integrations with few already in pipeline.
• Built a highly scalable search service to serve customers with their orders right after order placement. Designed it in an extensible way for future ingestion from various data pipelines. Using it, Myntra was able to serve customers with orders view even during sale/high load (4k RPM). Average search response time decreased from 70ms to 25ms.
• Executed and lead the effort of last mile consolidation of Jabong shipments which reduced the shipping and packing cost by about 22%.

• Built a Look Creator tool to be used by the in-house stylists and brands to create looks.
• The integrated platform allows the user to create looks comprising a topwear, bottomwear, footwear and accessory. User can also add targeting information to the look and publish it on the Myntra app.

• >Electro-oculography based mouse: Uses your eye movement to select options on screen(For dumb people)
• >Finding fatigue damage in vehicles: Calculating the fatigue damage in vehicles using MATLAB and its relation with fuel consumption.
