• Heading all technology functions for Matchmove (Development, Devops, Data). Close coordination with stakeholders like Product, Business, Operations, Legal and Compliance, Support and Constumer excellence teams on a day to day basis. Responsible for all product deliveries within the organization.
• Highlights:
• Turning around the tech team to a highly performant and cohesive unit with a high focus on continual quality and predictability of delivery. Upgrading tech competencies within the team, clear segregation of ownership of services by verticals, inculcating best practices for sdlc to cater for highly agile and ever evolving business requirements.
• Built the next gen Bank in an app SAS platform called lightspeed and sucesfully launching in various South east asia countries. Lightspeed is now the Flagship product of Matchmove and provides whitelabled IOS and android apps, Bulk issuance platforms and Cross border remittance capabilities all bundled in a single product.
• Built a horizontal onboarding platform which automates a client onbarding process across internal and external providers and brought down an onboarding cycle of months to an average of 1 minute, providing saving of thousands of man hours and an accelerated go to market capability.
• Spearheaded automating various operations and compliance requirements across the board via a centralized internal administrative platform, again streamlining multiple processes and workflows.
• Overseeing revamping of data pipelines and reconciliation process to eliminate various failure points. Identifying and eliminating various sources of data inconsistencies systematicaly.
• Overseeing Technology, infrastructure and security overhauls to have Pci Dss compliance certification for Matchmove.

• Responsible for Swiggy’s Devops, DBA, Security and SRE functions. Work with all tech teams for infrastructure design, platform development, capacity planning, cost optimization. Build and evangelize all the tools required for automating every aspect of SDLC from building code till deployment.

• Setting up security team from scratch. Introducing various security automated practices for VAPT, static and dynamic code analysis, Public ports and and endpoints management etc.
• Revamping SRE team and placing them as a L1 team for devops team.
• Evangalizing a cloud database team for first time in swiggy. During my tenure, we saw great enhancements in our schema and query optimizations and PITR and archiving capabilities.
• Inhouse platform for dynamically protecting sensitve information at rest in the application databases.
• POC of various WAF solutions and introduction of Imperva waf to all public endpoints of swiggy.
• Mesos and Kuberneted based docker platforms with capabilty of promotion based deployments with multiple runways and enviroments.
• Cost optimization of AWS infrasturcture and reduction of costs by ~50% via resource streamlining, auto scaling systems, enterprise deal with aws. Introduced governance of cost per pods through budgets and cost dashboards.
• Inhouse Ddos protection platform based on open source technologies.
• Closely working with architeture team for various design optimizations and introducing new layers like Kong based traffic gateway.
• Closely working with Data team to setup inhouse data platforms and data sciences systems.

- Supervised successful launch of Ola Shuttle, Ola Share, Ola Pool and many other properties from scratch. 
- Succesful migration of Taxiforsure tech stacks to Ola systems.

• Owned Email hosting Product line of Directi, end to end from a tech perspective. The product offered SMB and enterprise flavors of Email hosting. The whole platform was built Inhouse using open source technolgies and powered over a Million active mail accounts. This product was in direct competetion to Google G suite offering and hosted various enterprise customers including Tata in the clientele.
• My major contributions were launching the Enterprise product, optimizing massive storage and backup requirements, moving away from traditional Das systems to Netapp filer based storage, introduction of Flashcache to optimize ssd performance in high performance databases, CDN management, introducing Inotify based solutions to manage syncing and PITR based backups of millions of files, inhouse tool for managing IPs for DNS based email blacklists and converting it to a prodcut.

• Managed some of the highest trafficked websites in the world and learned technology at massive scale. Major responsibilities included ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability and operability of the Yahoo! Media Group properties like Finance.y.c, News.y.c, Weather.y.c, Health.y.c, Sports.y.c. Played a crucial role in establishing a follow the sun model for various Yahoo properties and ensuring India team gets established as a center of excellence in close collaboration with other global teams.
