About

I am a Software engineer with 9+ years of professional experience, mostly in the area of Python backend applications. Last few years I have been developing applications in frameworks like Django and Flask. The applications were either launced in containers or ran using UWSGI workers with Nginx as web server. All the applications were designed, developed and deployed in microservice architecture. I have also written multiple scripts in python for automating many repeating tasks within the company and scheduling it accordingly in AWS events and lambda thereby achieving more productivity. For the past several years I have also deployed many of our applications using Amazon AWS. I have also setup data pipelines using Kafka, SQS and Databricks for processing the incoming data and writing it to Data lake which can be queried later for logging, analytics and visualised using BI tools. Couple of years ago, I have also worked on React for developing internal tools within the company. I've also built a chrome extension for data collection using Javascript which reduced the manual data collection time by 80% From the past experience, I have also learnt not to compromise on the quality of the code and automated tests as it can save lot of time when updating or adding features later to the repository.
