This was a machine-to-machine communication (M2M) based IoT (Internet of Things) project in which the user can know about the status of various parking lots on every parking floor in a particular building of a city. I tested inputs, outputs and signal reception under variable environment scenarios. It used Wireless Network Sensors (proximity/light-based) to detect a car's presence. These sensors would be set up in each parking lot space and would inform whether the slot is Available or Parked.
