• The Head of TDSG is an intersectional role in the Engineering Science Department at the University of Oxford, with principal responsibility for the delivery of practical learning which are central to its undergraduate course alongside overseeing research support, outreach delivery and strategic support for future teaching and new infrastructure.
• Leading a 10 member interdisciplinary team of teaching focussed multidisciplinary engineers and researchers, the Head of TDSG is primarily responsible for providing academic leadership for practical learning and teaching, working in collaboration with the student administration, finance, HR, academic secretary, major departmental committees and student council.
• Additionally, this role involves teaching, industry and external engagement, line management, lab operations, maintenance of lab infrastructure in partnership with the IT, facilities and safety team whilst providing support for research design and outreach initiatives .
• As Oxford begins to look into the Future, a key part of the role involves framing a strategic vision and integrated road map for the implementation of future learning, alongside other key members of the department and in collaboration with all the branches of engineering.

• UCL Engineering Faculty was cited as one of the current leader's in Engineering Education Innovation by the MIT state of the art engineering education report 2018. CEE was established by the Engineering department and Institute of Education to lead the global transformation in Engineering education. Spearheading the innovative integrated engineering programme (IEP) at UCL, currently CEE under the leadership of Prof John Mitchell focuses on curriculum development, consultancy, master’s education, and engineering engagement.
• My role here centered on innovation of engineering education through curriculum and capacity building consultancy, developing scholarship & research in engineering education pedagogy, practice and policy.
• Major part of work here focussed on the consultancy for the New Giza University, working with the CEE and UCLC team in developing their innovative Engineering programme, leading the design of Autonomous System Design modules, managing the design and delivery of electronics based modules working with academics across the department of Engineering at UCL.
• Awarded the UCL Global Engagement Fund and spearheaded the 'GEF India Initiative' collaboration with two major Indian Universities in strengthening their engineering education learning model according to the changing times and the India National Education Policy (NEP).
• Delivered 11 invited keynotes and talks across the globe, established collaboration with five key industry partners for an RAEng funding bid and conceptualised systems based engineering education approach research project.

• Dyson Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) is a bridge between academia and industry, helping develop workplace Engineers.
• Spearheaded to redefine the electronics engineering education module through a systems approach, planning and executing the transformation end to end. Scope included innovation of curriculum design and delivery, integrating Dyson Engineering Team and Dyson Institute, teaching & learning strategy & policy, student engagement, building strategic partnerships, pedagogical innovation, and research design.
• Reimaged electronics engineering education as the principal driving force behind the design of an inclusive, immersive, and bespoke engineering ‘learning by doing model’ based on 'Engineering Thinking and CDIO’.
• Established working collaborations with the University of Oxford, Royal Academy of Engineering, University of Winchester, Analog Devices, TI, Dyson, pioneers in Engineering Education Innovation and Creators of EHoM (Engineering habits of mind) and CDIO model to design and develop an innovative electronics engineering learning model for developing workplace Engineers.
• Pioneered a pedagogical model to interconnect and inculcate enterprise, innovation, and research in electronics engineering learning with experts within DIET, Dyson, and global partners. (built & led a team of 40 from scratch)
• Won £10k funding from Dyson for the ‘Learning to be an Engineer’ practitioner pedagogical project following a successful case study proposal pitch delivered to senior stakeholders.
• Designed and run the ‘Thinking and Learning Like an Engineer’ project, and ‘Magic of Engineering’ workshops to integrate the student learning experience focusing on exploring, finding and developing their Engineering Identities.
• Winner of ‘Bringing Learning to Life 2022’ award, Nominee for the following: ‘Community Champion Award’22, Contribution to Undergraduate Experience’22 and ‘Best Academic Staff Award 2021’
