• I’m currently leading the transformation of Api management and traffic infrastructure. This includes decommissioning the legacy Apigee API Gateway, implementing Akamai CDN to enhance performance and security, and integrating with an internal traffic manager that optimises service routing and ensures high availability across our graphql and rest api systems.
• In parallel, I’m contributing to the modularization of a monolith GraphQL application through the implementation of Apollo Federation. This initiative involves breaking down the existing monolithic structure into smaller, more manageable units, offering a chance to rearchitect systems. I am actively driving the team's progress towards embracing a Federated GraphQL Architecture, a shift that involves an in-depth understanding of GraphQL API specification and Apollo GraphQL toolkit.

• Tech Lead - I played a leading role in making crucial design decisions for the integration and migration to enterprise services from legacy service consumption on a massive GraphqQL data orchestrating application facilitating the change seamlessly without impacting front-end systems.
• Project Management - I participated in designing and executing the Whoosh program, a one-hour order delivery feature on Tesco.com working closely with the UX and UI teams, as well as the relevant enterprise services. From assessing requirement feasibility, I was involved in every step of the program from contract negotiations to high-level architecture and also GraphQL query optimizations. Throughout the entire program, I collaborated closely with the PMs of all teams, providing insights and solutions to overcome any impediments and to keep the project on track.
• Team Technical Lead - I have served as the team lead, overseeing basket and fulfillment operations and integrations in Tesco online area. I was technically spearheading the team, guiding both the team's direction and providing mentorship to newly joined hires and graduates.
• Beyond my domain-specific responsibilities, I readily extend my expertise to guide teams in both domain and technical aspects. As part of architecture reviews and story grooming across teams, I offer my analysis and guidance when in need.
• COVID response - During the COVID lockdowns, I played an integral role in collaborating with teams for solutioning crucial adaptive features such as priority slots, one order per week, and basket volumetric restrictions. These implementations significantly impacted the business's performance. Notably, only a few engineers were involved in executing these changes, and I had the honor of representing my team in rolling out these features. All of this was achieved while working within extremely tight deadlines.
