• Developed a real-time Computer–Vision-based system for measuring the distance of surrounding vehicle from ego-vehicle using a single camera. The algorithm used a simple low pass filter to detect the lower position of the car's shadow from the captured image which was then mapped to provide a birds-eye view position of the car's back taking ego-vehicle as a reference by using geometry and optics concept.
