I have 10 years of experience in Fintech, Banking and financial services. My expertise is payments and regulations, and a strong network in Banking and Fintech. I head partnerships (banking, payments and platform partnerships), and part of the founding team at Skydo. Skydo is a B2B cross-border payment company focused on Indian SMBs and Sellers. My team is responsible for identifying and building payment rails and new capabilities for Skydo. I work closely with banks and FIs across markets. Prior to this, I was at Citi across multiple stints: (1) Tech Partnerships: As part of the TMT team, I covered global platforms. I had the opportunity to launch and scale payments on multiple popular consumer platforms including YouTube, Play Store and WhatsApp. Most of these cross-border structures required regulatory approvals, so I learnt and became an expert in regulations during this time. (2) Product and Partnerships: Spring-by-Citi is the Citi's merchant acquiring and card processing product. I was part of the product team to research and finalise the product's launch in India. (3) Business Development and Sales: I covered Citi's corporate banking clients in India, mostly across healthcare and TMT. I was exposed to a wide range of banking products and regulations including Trade Finance, Receivables Purchase, corporate cards, Cross-border payments. I originated and executed several transactions during this time, and contributed to maintaining Citi's pole position in transaction banking in Bangalore and Hyderabad markets. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time down many rabbit holes in Payments and Fintech, or advising early stage Fintech startups. I also enjoy making intros or connecting people within my network.
