The identity and security platform is responsible for connecting Intuit identities to other financial institutions, single sign on capabilities, authorized access, connecting all Intuit mobile apps on multitude of user devices to Intuit Services, threat modeling, fraud detection and prevention capabilities, monitoring and analysis.
• In a short span of 1 year, grew the IDC charter from running few Services to complete ownership of the platform with a strong team of about 30 engineers. The platform was core to all Intuit products including Turbo Tax, QuickBooks and Mint handling ~50M users and 1200 tps in each data center with ~250 ms SLA. Defined the vision, product strategy and tech road map for the platform, focusing and empowering some of Network Effect Platforms at Intuit like the third party developer platform. Earned confidence and credibility from the global leaders with the right strategy around ownership, thinking ahead of time, operational excellence and technical depth.

The aim was to build a private cloud from scratch to allow reliable and scalable provisioning of elastic compute power dynamically (auto expand based on demand) within seconds (instead of days/weeks at that time) with appropriate integrations with external solutions like OpenStack virtualization and containers like Docker, as well as internal

• APT was an online advertising management platform and ad-exchange from Yahoo for "guaranteed delivery" of "display ads" generating over $1B in revenue. I led multifunctional team to develop key features of display ad platform from inception to delivery on both supply and demand side of the ad platform. Such as: Inventory reservation extension, Inventory controls, Exchange quality management filters, Approvals, IAB standards for Video, Video on Mobile and Creative Performance. Key contributor to product strategy and roadmap. Engaged with and influenced Director - Strategic Initiatives, Account and Yield managers, Sales team and Product Managers in defining the product roadmap and the long-term vision. Go to person for not just APT teams, but for cross-functional teams as well for architecture reviews, technical problems, design challenges, and domain knowledge. Led Yahoo’s mobile display ad monetization initiative from ground up. Led the collaborative effort for product gap analysis for display ads on mobile and defining the product vision. Mentored and coached the engineering team to excel. Extensively involved in technical hiring. Judge for several technical hackathon events, including at IIT D. Received Yahoo’s highest technical Arjuna award for my work in display advertising.

• Led key initiatives for Yahoo Search Ad Platform which was a $2.5B revenue generating platform. Led the project of "Campaign Portability" which is an easy and efficient transfers of advertiser campaign data from third-party formats (like Google Campaigns) into Yahoo formats. Lead for the external APIs (Enterprise Web Services) for search advertising for the demand side platform with about 1.8M advertisers and 20M+ calls per day. Led features around Ad placement, targeting (demographic, geo/IP, behavioral, internet connection, etc) and Content Match.
