About

I have a deep passion for combining product vision, business strategy, and new technologies to build platform products. Most recently, I was the Head of Payment Platform at Square, leading Product, Design, and Engineering for the payment facilitation and money movement services that power the Square ecosystem—with an annual payments volume exceeding $150B. I was born in Germany, but grew up around the world, living in Pakistan and Hungary. I hold a Master in Computer Science from TU Berlin and a PhD in Information Science from Humboldt University of Berlin. When I’m not building payment platforms, you can find me in the outdoors or working on my DIY Sprinter-van build.
