I’m VP of Engineering at SQE (Sinarmas Group). In my current role, i spend a significant chunk of my time in figuring out which AI products to build/buy that can help the financial service businesses in Sinarmas (bank, asset management, stock trading, insurance, crypto, investments) and bring about cost savings and new avenues for revenue generation using AI agents. Before being a VP, i was the Head of Engineer for 3 years. I lead a team of 50+ engineers and deliver projects that move the needle, like: • Re-architecting Bank Sinarmas’ systems. • Rolling out IT governance policies for Sinarmas’ stock-trading firm. • Building a D2C insurance site for Sinarmas insurance. More on these in the Job detail section below. Before SQE, I was an Engineering Manager at Gojek for GoRide, GoCar, GoBluebird, and international expansion (Thailand and Vietnam). Highlights there: • Built an in-house live-tracking service and SDK (now used by all products in Gojek) • Led the 2018-19 Gojek app overhaul • Created “Instant Gojek” for on-demand rides • Built Predefined Points of Interest (PPOI) for users to easily select a pickup location in popular places like malls, airports, stations etc More on these in the Job detail section below.
