• Built out an on demand procurement model which brought the procurement % of medicines procured within 24 hours from ~ 45% to >90%, This meant a huge increase in final SLA to customer.
• Launched express deliveries for Medlife and enabled Medlife to go from 1 day+ SLA to a 2 hour SLA in multiple cities.
• Launched a new supply chain system and warehousing module, drastically improved inventory accuracy and health.
• Switched multiple warehouses across the country to the new supply chain & inventory module with minimal downtime.

• Delivery:
• a. Dropped the per packet delivery cost from Rs.64 to Rs.48 while maintaining SLAS.
• b. Moved the org from a fixed per packet model of DE payment to a KM and Time based model.
• Inventory accuracy - Worked on barcoding inventory and contributed to reduced shrinkage from about 8% to < 0.5%, this was an important metric which had to be brought under control for the business to make sense.
• Supply chain - Dropped excess procurement from 11% to <1%.
• Customer APP - Rolled out Availability tracking while placing order, partly the reason for NPS to from ~40% to 65% within a span of 6 months while dropping costs.

• 1. Developed and deployed the auto assignment algorithm which had the goal of reducing costs while maximizing SLAs with hyperlocal delivery, mathematically speaking it was a Travelling sales man problem with capacity and time window constraints. Dropped delivery costs from Rs64 to Rs 48 per order while improving SLAs for hyperlocal delivery of medicines. Despite having the lowest delivery cost Myra also had the fastest delivery in the Industry.
• 2. Forecast Algorithm: Increased theoretical order fulfilment % from ~70% to ~82% while dropping the net inventory days from 45 to 21 days. This made a huge difference to the cash flows of the business.
• 3. Automated transcription of medicines with an accuracy > 80%.
• 4. Headed the complete data analysis team which was responsible for business intelligence of all parts of the org.

• As the first product hire of the company I was directly reporting to the CEO, So it naturally meant a lot of responsibilities, learning and growth. Over the course of a ~3 year period we built the fastest medicine delivery service in the country.
• For a company that was serving millions of orders a year, we had a relatively small product team of just 2 people, while we had a 40 member engineering team and a 1000 member org. And between the two of us we handled:
• (i) Supply chain, Call center, Delivery, Warehousing and the Customer app
• (ii) Being a product driven company meant that I had PNL responsibilities, impact was all that mattered.
