  • Drums Food is a new-age FMCG start-up in the business of creating delicious snack solutions for daily cravings. Drums Food launched first with its super premium ice-cream brand, Hokey Pokey. Soon thereafter, introduced the second brand, Epigamia - India’s first and only all-natural Greek Yogurt.
  • I worked on 3 projects:
  • 1) Promo Efficacy: This project was related to all the promotional offers which the company runs in different modern trade stores across India, data was provided to me and I was given the task to analyze it and predict those offers which we can run in the upcoming months. The project was entirely based on various excel tools. The main aim was to increase the net sales through all the promos. I did the analysis for more than 40 modern trade stores across India.
  • 2) Logistics: The most important part in FMCG brands is logistics since the shelf life of the product is only 15 days. So it is very important that the logistics be well planned and the product reaches the customer as soon as possible. I got access to the details of current primary and secondary logistics and my work was to analyze the current model i.e. efficiency, utilization and also mapping of new routes. Through this analysis, we were able to map different routes and increase the utility of vehicles.
  • 3) Production Analysis: My last project was to make a model which gives the production number of various products at each factory so that summation of the cost involved in transportation from the factory to the city and conversion cost at that factory is minimum, keeping in mind the restrictions at each factory such as the weekly and monthly capacity and ensuring that the weekly demand of each city is met.
