• As the Head of Engineering and Products, I am the owner of all the major products and features we are developing at Coding Blocks.
• I'm responsible for managing the infrastructure, technology, team mentoring, products (Tech, Marketing and Designs) and for taking new initiatives, prototyping them quickly and building scalable solutions around them.
• Leading the Engineering and Product team to build products with 1 Lakh+ monthly users:
• Online Coding Blocks - Platform for online course consumption
• Hacker Blocks - Online judge to evaluate assignments and hold monthly contests to generate awareness for programming among tier2-tier3 cities,
• IDE Coding Blocks - Online IDE with support of over 6 different programming languages and is being used by developers around the world,
• Hiring Blocks - An online platform to connect talent and employers by providing them with students with relevant skillsets,
• and many more. Responsible for availability, resilience, instrumentation, capacity planning of the products, and specifically for working with teams to deliver on high impact events with more than 1 Lakh RPM.
• I am extremely passionate about innovation and have co-founded (and am running) various programs at CodingBlocks that drive the spirit of innovation forward, such as:
• Deploy, a startup incubator for budding developers coming to learn at Coding Blocks to drive the entrepreneurial spirit.
• Developed features and frameworks that helped increase membership growth by >65%.
• Campus Blocks, Coding Blocks Student Chapter to provide unique opportunities to learn and develop leadership skills, development, networking, mentoring and bonding for students in universities.
• CodSule, a monthly online competition to identify talented software developers across India in which more than 2000 developers take part every month.

• Project lead for Todo Cards:
• Todo Cards is a micro-service consumed by Practo’s Health app. The service is written in NodeJS and acts as an aggregator for providing to-do cards of a user. It has a 95th percentile response time of 300 ms. I am responsible for HLD, LLD, implementation and integration with different Practo products.

• Oneness:
• Oneness acts as an API gateway for Practo’s doctor side app. I am responsible for integrating different Practo products with oneness so as to provide a seem-less experience for user.
• Holonet:
• Holonet is a tool which is used to run campaigns and send mailers to Practo’s users. Implemented a rate limiter based on text similarity using tf-idf of the campaigns sent to a particular user.
