• What I’ve done at Hotstar is help build a holistic security platform management system that would help the organization address its security needs in India and facilitate its upcoming expansion in 28+ countries.
• After all, ensuring the security of processes for its 400 million+ and expanding user base is no small task and we need to be able to do it without spending millions in costs.
• So, by ensuring compliance, protecting against piracy for a massive amount of content in real-time, ensuring trust and safety to both the customers and the platform, and upholding product security for 15 different platforms – while simultaneously equipping for all the varying instances of Trust and Fraud – steadily but surely, we are attaining the goal of maximizing the organization’s potential.

• When I started at Ola, the organization was growing exponentially. Ola had set its place as one of the biggest unicorns in the country, and soon required an abstracted security system that far surpassed my singular executive. Building a team from scratch, I had to focus on detecting anomalies, vulnerabilities, and threats to the company.
• Eventually, we built a 100+ Security, Trust and Fraud team at the organization. But from the beginning, our aim remained the same – to make foundational rather than superficial changes.
• Over the 4+ years I spent across Ola International, Foodpanda, Ridlr, Ola automotive, Ola financial, Ola store, and other sister companies, we integrated security straight into Ola’s products, its business strategies, its process, as well as into every interaction and touchpoint that occurred between the stakeholders.
• I was responsible for Security, international payments, fraud, and Trust.

• After taking the initiative to help Adobe secure a product called Echosign, I became the first security engineer to handle the security of the newly acquired product. As a differentiated product pioneering digital signing, keeping the product/services secured throughout the SDLC was central to the project, which I ensured in conjunction with the team.

• My tenure as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Flipkart started with a collaboration with the CTO. Our aim was to integrate security directly within the then start-up's products, to help make the organization take sure-footed steps as it scaled, and go from 1 to 10, 10 to 100, and onwards as confidently as possible.
• The challenge was to maintain an unhindered shopping experience while upholding the security of all our operations and ensuring the safety of our customers’ data throughout. But having the freedom to explore and experiment, here was the first time I built my team up from scratch and blended the disparate function of engineering and security into one all-embracing whole, also getting an opportunity to supervise the security of Flipkart's in-house Payment Gateway Payzippy on the way.

• An application security (product development) and software development (services) startup, Slash Infosystems was a passion project that was simply too early and too good for its time.
