Ayushi Mehndiratta — HR Manager
I’ve built HR systems from the ground up. I started out doing the basics — manual hiring coordination, payroll processing, attendance tracking, documentation, and handling employee queries. Worked very close to day-to-day operations, where accuracy, responsiveness, and trust weren’t optional. As organisations grew, the work changed. What began as execution slowly turned into building structure, figuring out what needed to exist so HR could actually support people and the business. Over the last 6+ years, I’ve worked across HR operations, global talent acquisition, and people experience. Much of my work has been taking teams through 0–1 setup and 1–10 readiness, moving from manual processes to system-led, HRIS-driven ways of working. In practice, that has meant: • Owning the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to performance, engagement, and exits • Managing payroll coordination, attendance, and compliance, where consistency and accuracy mattered every month • Moving teams from spreadsheets to HRIS and workflow-based systems that people could actually use • Creating role clarity, KRAs, and performance structures that supported fair and predictable reviews • Building SOPs, Career Progression plans, designed organisation structure, HR policies, and internal playbooks to bring stability during growth stage • Putting together HR metrics and dashboards so leadership had visibility, not assumptions • Planning and running employee engagement initiatives, townhalls, workshops and offsites I’ve worked with HRIS, ATS, and workflow tools like Keka, Zoho People, Asanify, SumHR, and ClickUp not as an end in itself, but to make HR operations simpler and consistent. Alongside operations, I’ve also been involved in human resource planning, working with leadership on headcount needs, role readiness, and team structure as the organisation evolved. What shapes how I work is fairly simple: I’ve worked close enough to the ground to see what fails during scale. With a background in work psychology, I focus on building systems that address issues early, not reactively. I’m interested in working with structured, growing organisations where HR is expected to bring clarity, stability, and long-term people systems.
