I am an Assistant Professor (Junior) at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE) and a doctoral researcher in Electrical Engineering, with an interdisciplinary foundation spanning industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent energy systems. I began my professional career as an Automation Engineer, gaining two years of hands-on industrial experience after completing my B.Tech and a PG Diploma in Industrial Automation. During this period, I worked extensively with Schneider Electric and Unitronics platforms, specializing in PLC programming, industrial drives, and HMI development. My responsibilities included control panel design and wiring, system integration, commissioning, on-site installation, and performance testing for real-world automation systems. This experience grounded my technical expertise in practical engineering constraints, reliability, and safety-critical design. To deepen my understanding of intelligent systems, I pursued an M.Tech in Robotics and Automation, where I worked on multidisciplinary projects involving Robot Operating System (ROS), MATLAB, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and medical image processing. I also developed solutions using machine learning techniques and programming languages such as Python and C++, strengthening my ability to bridge hardware, algorithms, and software intelligence. Currently, my research focuses on Lithium-ion Battery Management Systems, with particular emphasis on State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH) estimation using hybrid deep learning models, including CNN-LSTM architectures. My work aims to develop accurate, reliable, and scalable battery intelligence frameworks for electric vehicles, renewable energy integration, and sustainable power systems. With a background that combines industrial automation, robotics, and AI-driven energy analytics, I strive to build data-driven, resilient, and industry-relevant solutions that contribute to the future of sustainable and intelligent energy systems.
