Best known for his designs of waterfront houses, restaurants, and memorials. Also known for his newsletters on the historic preservation of an eighteenth-century Maryland mansion (cloverfieldspreservationfoundation.org) and for his ability to design buildings and gardens at the same time. Kimmel is both a licensed architect and a licensed landscape architect. He loves to draw and to walk in downtown Annapolis early in the morning.
