I’m currently building Loans24, the consumer financing platform within Cars24, with the ambition of creating an AI-first lending platform for vehicle commerce. Lending is one of the most interesting applied AI problems. Credit decisions sit at the intersection of behaviour, risk, economics and data, yet most lending systems today still rely heavily on static rules and legacy credit signals. At Loans24 we’re exploring how AI can fundamentally improve how lending works by combining marketplace data, financial signals and machine learning. Some of the problems we’re working on include: • AI-driven credit underwriting • alternative data scoring for thin-file borrowers • fraud detection across digital vehicle transactions • automated loan decisioning • embedding lending into digital commerce journeys Vehicle commerce creates a unique dataset — ownership patterns, transaction behaviour, asset characteristics and borrower signals — that can unlock a more intelligent way to evaluate credit. Our goal is to build a data-first lending platform where credit decisions become faster, smarter and more inclusive. Before Cars24, I worked as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) focusing on Financial Services and Industrial Goods. I hold an MBA from IIM Calcutta (Institute Rank 3 – Silver Medalist) and a B.Com (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
