• Identified sites of direct contact between arrestin and rhodopsin by fluorescence spectroscopic studies and proposed models of interaction, based on distance constraints

• As a part of my bachelor's thesis project in the laboratory of Dr. Sandhya Visweswariah, I studied the genomic level regulation of various signaling pathways by guanylyl cyclase. I performed microarray analysis of global gene expression in response to guanylyl cyclase activation in T84 cells by a heat stable enterotoxin. I performed Northern and Western blots to verify the expression of some of the genes upregulated upon activation of the cyclase.
